On today's "Things I Find While Walking My Dog," a shout-out to some fantastic exterior home decor. You might think it is a gargoyle, but you would be wrong — it’s actually called a grotesque. Gargoyles are grotesques themselves, but they’re built with an opening at the front and back and are specifically for channeling rainwater off a roof. Never let it be said these posts never taught you anything.

We have a rare double entry in today's "Things I Find While Walking My Dog." The first is a Frozen-themed scooter. Either the owner took the message of the movie too seriously and just "let it go" or, more disturbingly, there is a clown in a sewer nearby. The other is a full package of ground turkey with a stuffed lion placed on top. Yeah… I am tapping out on this one. I got nothing.

Yesterday, with my last bit of energy, I took Valley for a walk and I am so glad I did or I would have missed the latest entry in “Things I Find While Walking My Dog.” Just a BBQ waiting for a bus. Today, Valley and I passed the same bus shelter and I am happy to report that it was not there. I can only surmise that it caught its bus and is continuing its adventures in another part of town.
