Installation of permanent public washroom
Washroom to open in July 2024 in Alberta Avenue Community Centre parking lot
On Monday, April 29 a grey trailer was lowered by crane onto a section of the Alberta Avenue Community Centre parking lot. Contractors for the City of Edmonton (COE) have been preparing a base and infrastructure for the fully outfitted washroom trailer for the past couple of months.
According to the COE Construction Bulletin, the facility will have two universal washrooms and will be staffed 12 hours per day.
